Mechanical insulation, in 3D, built the way it goes on the pipe.

The Insulation Library is a photoreal 3D reference for mechanical pipe insulation. Pick a material, service, jacket and pipe size and see the system layer by layer: pipe, insulation, facing, vapor retarder, jacket, bands and seals. Every spec on the data card comes from a manufacturer data sheet, with the source linked.

Before you bid with it: A reference and training tool, not an engineering calculation. Use the submittal data sheet and the project specification for the job.
What it does

Insulation Library in one screen.

  • Calcium silicate, fiberglass, mineral wool, cellular glass, elastomeric, phenolic and more.
  • Installed, cutaway, layers, exploded and section views of straight runs, elbows and valves.
  • Hot and cold service decide the vapor retarder and the jacket rules.
  • Spec data card: service temperature, k-factor, density, ASTM standards, jacket compatibility.
  • Thickness simulator: hot, cold and condensate checks, pipe and ductwork, with a recommendation tab.
Where your file lives

The library runs in your browser and stores nothing about you. Spec values are transcribed from published manufacturer and standards documents and link back to their source; verify against the current data sheet before you submit.
